Here at Holy Trinity we have an Eco-Committee! We are working together to help to save our planet one step at a time! At the moment we are applying for the eco-schools green flag award and we are currently working on saving energy, increasing biodiversity and making sure our school is free from litter. We have made posters for our light switches to remind everyone to turn off the lights when we're not using them! Turn off your lights!!
We have made leaflets to tell everyone at home what we're doing in Eco-Club! We are saving electricity, encouraging bio-diversity and keeping our school free from litter!! So, pick up your litter!!
We are encouraging biodiversity by planting seeds in our plant boxes in our school yard! We're going to look after them and hopefully they will grow into flowers to attract insects!!
We have began planting a wild flower garden in our school garden. We hope to attract insects and other bugs into our school to improve biodiversity.
