Six of our Year 6 children recently embarked on a remarkable journey aboard the James Cook boat, operated by Ocean Youth Trust North, alongside peers from Lemington Riverside (WEST). During this one-night residential 'under the sail', they were entrusted with significant responsibilities in the daily operations of the 20-metre offshore sailing vessel. This experience fostered teamwork and mutual respect among the children, who demonstrated commendable cooperation. Although they returned home feeling exhausted, they unanimously regarded the adventure as a "brilliant and fun experience."
